Commissioner Jose "Pepe" Diaz participated in HialeahGardens Elementary School's career day. He spoke to the students about the responsibilities and duties of the Miami Dade Board of County Commissioners.
Politics is defiantly not a topic that captures the attention of fourth and fifth graders, but Diaz used topics such as the future Florida Marlins Stadium and Miami Heat to keep them focused.
