Miami Police Chief Miguel Exposito ignores reporters as he makes his way towards a press conference in Liberty City. He eventually spoke to reporters, but refused to answer specific questions regarding the alleged bribe of $400,00.00 to leave the City Of Miami Police force.

Baby Flamingo at Zoo Miami

For the first time in almost a decade a baby flamingo has hatched at Zoo Miami. Several other flamingos are currently incubating eggs.

Best Father’s Day Present any Gorilla could ask for!

On Sunday, June 19th, 2011, zookeepers at Zoo Miami were ecstatic to find a newborn Western Lowland Gorilla next to its mother when they came into work.


After months of anxious anticipation, Zoo Miami’s most significant birth of the year occurred yesterday. Kumbuka, a 14-year-old lowland gorilla, gave birth to a healthy baby; the sex and weight have yet to be determined. This infant is the first Gorilla to be born in Florida this year.

The world's largest passenger plane arrived at Miami International Airport on June 10, 2011 at 1:40 p.m. The Lufthansa Airbus A380 can carry 526 passengers. Lufthansa offers Daily service from Frankfurt to Miami.
