I’ve never been big on wildlife photography, but the chance to take a photo of this little fellow was too tempting. I don’t know whether the snake was awake or not; snakes don’t have eyelids.

I really don't like rattle snakes but the snake pose for this photo, so, what can I say? Becareful of what you shoot at, you'll never know what the animal is thinking of. Instints plays a big role in both parties between the photographer and the animal. You were lucky.
