On Sunday, June 19th, 2011, zookeepers at Zoo Miami were ecstatic to find a newborn Western Lowland Gorilla next to its mother when they came into work.
After months of anxious anticipation, Zoo Miami’s most significant birth of the year occurred yesterday. Kumbuka, a 14-year-old lowland gorilla, gave birth to a healthy baby; the sex and weight have yet to be determined. This infant is the first Gorilla to be born in

I think they should name the baby gorilla "FLORIDA" since the baby was born here; Zoo Miami keep this thought in mind. :-)!!!!
